What Recap does
Recap turns the Apple Reminders you have already completed into a short, human-readable summary so you can celebrate progress and stay organised.
Data we access
With your permission, Recap reads only the reminders you mark as complete in Apple Reminders. Specifically, we may access:
- Reminder titles
- Completion dates and times
- Optional notes attached to those reminders
We also collect basic, aggregated diagnostics (such as feature usage and crash data) to keep the app reliable.
How summaries are processed
Recap uses an AI model to turn your completed reminders into a natural summary. When cloud processing is required, your reminder content is transmitted securely only to generate that summary. We never use your reminders to train third-party models.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not include third-party advertising SDKs.
- We run only minimal analytics to understand basic product usage.
Your choices
You can revoke Recap’s access to Apple Reminders at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Reminders. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data.
